How We Source Our Tackle

Glenmore partners with established tackle manufacturers and fulfillment partners to bring you crankbaits, jerkbaits, swimbaits, jigs, and soft plastics that hold up on the water. We do not manufacture lures ourselves. Instead we work directly with factories and distributors who specialize in bass tackle, including brands like Hunthouse, Kingdom, Bearking, and Tsuyoki. This lets us offer a wide range across topwater, jointed swimbaits, and deep diving crankbaits without marking up prices to cover a factory we don't need.

Because we rely on manufacturing and fulfillment partners rather than a single in-house warehouse, some items ship from different locations depending on the product. We think this is worth being upfront about, since it affects handling times and is part of how we can keep prices fair.

Handling and Dispatch Times

Most orders are processed and handed to our shipping partners within 1 to 3 business days. During high-volume periods, such as spring pre-spawn rush or holiday sales on our on-sale page, handling can occasionally stretch to 4 to 5 business days. We do not inflate these numbers to look impressive. If a delay is happening, we would rather tell you than pretend otherwise.

Orders placed on weekends or holidays begin processing the next business day. You will get a confirmation email when your order is placed and a shipping notification once it is on its way.

Realistic Shipping and Delivery Windows

Domestic US orders typically arrive within 5 to 10 business days after dispatch. International orders, since Glenmore ships worldwide, generally take longer, often 10 to 25 business days depending on destination country, customs processing, and local postal handling. Some remote regions can take longer still.

We know these windows are wider than a lot of stores advertise. That is intentional. Customs delays and international logistics are outside our control, and we would rather give you an honest range than a number that looks good on a product page and falls apart in real life. If your order is taking longer than expected, reach out and we will check on it with our fulfillment partner.

Accurate Photos and Honest Descriptions

Every product listing, whether it is a squarebill crankbait or a glide bait, is described based on how it actually fishes and what it is made of, not marketing language. We list actual dimensions, weights, and action type such as tight wobble versus wide roll, so you know what you are getting before it shows up.

Photos are sourced from the manufacturer or taken directly of the product. Colors can render slightly differently depending on your screen, but we do not use stock images that misrepresent size or finish. If a lure looks a certain way in the photo, that is what should arrive in the package.

How We Handle Issues, Support, and Returns

If something arrives damaged, wrong, or not as described, contact our support team with your order number and a photo if possible. We handle these on a case-by-case basis with replacements or refunds, and we do not make you jump through hoops to prove a problem exists.

Unopened, unused items in original packaging can typically be returned within 30 days of delivery for a refund. Because some of our tackle ships from manufacturing partners rather than a central warehouse, return shipping addresses may vary by item, our support team will provide the correct instructions when you reach out. We would rather resolve a real issue quickly than lose a customer over a slow response.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does Glenmore's Transparency Statement actually cover?

It explains how we source our tackle, how we price products, and how shipping costs are calculated so nothing shows up as a surprise fee at checkout. It also covers how we handle customer data and reviews on the site. Basically it's a plain-language rundown of how we operate, not legal boilerplate.

Does Glenmore disclose where its lures and tackle are manufactured?

Yes, we list country of origin on product pages where it's available from the manufacturer, since a lot of anglers care whether a bait is made in the US, Japan, or elsewhere. If a supplier hasn't confirmed that detail we say so rather than guessing. Check the Transparency Statement page for the general policy and individual product listings for specifics.

Why is free worldwide shipping mentioned in the Transparency Statement?

We wanted to be upfront that the shipping cost isn't hidden or padded into product prices differently by region, so a angler in Australia or the UK pays the same listed price as someone in the US. The statement lays out that shipping is genuinely free with no minimum order threshold. It's there so customers don't have to dig through terms and conditions to confirm it.

Is the Transparency Statement the same as Glenmore's return policy?

No, they're separate pages. The Transparency Statement covers sourcing, pricing honesty, and business practices, while returns and warranty claims on rods, reels, and tackle are handled under a dedicated returns policy. Both are linked in the site footer if you need specifics on either.
