Because it sinks rather than suspends, you can work it through different depths on the same retrieve, making it a solid choice for largemouth around laydowns and grass edges or smallmouth over rock and gravel. Twin treble hooks give it a serious hookup ratio once a bass commits.
How to fish it
- Cast past the target area and let the bait sink to the depth you want to fish.
- Use short, sharp rod twitches to make the bait dart side to side.
