This popper excels early and late in the day when bass are feeding shallow, around grass edges, laydowns, and points. Work it with sharp rod twitches and pauses to trigger reaction strikes. Two strong treble hooks handle the fight once a bass commits to the topwater blow-up.
How to fish it
- Cast past visible cover or surface activity and let the popper sit until rings disappear.
