Product description

The Tsurinoya 46S is a compact sinking minnow built for finesse presentations when bass are holding tight to cover or sitting deeper in the water column. At 46mm and 5 grams it casts easily on light spinning gear and settles into a natural horizontal glide as it sinks, giving wary fish a realistic look without any unnatural rise or wobble.

Worked with short twitches and pauses, the 46S darts and rolls before gliding back down, triggering reaction strikes from largemouth and smallmouth in clear ponds, rocky points, and pressured lakes. Its small size and subtle action make it a strong follow-up bait after bigger lures have been ignored, especially in cooler water or around finicky pressured fish.

How to fish it

Cast past the target area and let the lure sink to the desired depth before starting your retrieve.
Use short, sharp twitches of the rod tip followed by a pause to let the bait glide and settle.
Fish it around rock piles, dock pilings, and clear water edges where bass key in on smaller baitfish.
Slow the retrieve and lengthen pauses in cold water or when bass seem sluggish and reluctant to chase.
