Product description

The KingShrimp pairs a realistic shrimp body with a rear spinner blade, giving bass a bait that looks and moves like real forage. The segmented shell finish and molded legs catch light on the fall, while the blade adds flash and vibration that draws strikes from a distance. It sinks fast, making it a solid choice for working structure at different depths.

Built for jigging and hopping presentations, this lure shines around rock piles, dock pilings, and grass edges where bass key on crawfish and shrimp. The front single hook and rear treble give solid hookup coverage, and the four weight options let you match sink rate to depth and current for both largemouth and smallmouth.

How to fish it

  1. Cast past the target structure and let the lure sink fully to the bottom on a semi-slack line.
  2. Work it back with sharp hops or short jigging strokes to mimic a fleeing shrimp or crawfish.
  3. Pause between hops so the blade settles and flashes, which often triggers reaction strikes.
  4. Switch to a heavier weight in current or deeper water, and a lighter one for shallow, slow-fall presentations.

Frequently asked

For most bank and dock fishing, the 14g or 21g size covers a good range of depths. Go heavier in current or deep water, lighter for shallow, slow presentations.

Natural shrimp and brown tones work well in clear water, while brighter or higher-contrast finishes show up better in stained or murky conditions.

A medium to medium-heavy spinning or baitcasting rod with 10 to 17 lb fluorocarbon or braid to leader handles the jigging action and hooksets well.

It works year-round for largemouth and smallmouth, especially effective when bass are feeding on crawfish and shrimp-like forage near structure.
