The Vibration-X is a 75mm, 19g sinking lipless crankbait built for covering water fast and triggering reaction strikes. Its compact, weighted body casts far and sinks on a controlled fall, letting you fish it at any depth in the water column from bank to deep structure.

On the retrieve it delivers a tight, high-frequency shimmy that bass key in on around grass lines, rock, and drop-offs. The internal rattle adds noise for stained or off-color water, while a steady straight retrieve or lift-and-fall works well when bass are keying on shad or crawfish in the shallows or suspended over deeper flats.

How to fish it

  1. Cast past the target area and let the bait sink to the desired depth before starting your retrieve.
  2. Use a steady, moderate-speed retrieve to keep the tight vibration constant through the strike zone.
  3. Rip the bait free with a sharp rod snap if it contacts grass or wood, then let it flutter back down on a controlled fall.
  4. Work it along drop-offs and ledges with a lift-and-fall retrieve to trigger bass holding on structure.

Frequently asked

The 75mm, 19g size works well for average to larger largemouth and smallmouth bass and can be fished in open water or around cover.

Choose brighter, flashier finishes in clear water and darker or more solid patterns with added flash in stained or murky conditions.

A medium to medium-heavy casting or spinning rod with 10 to 17 lb fluorocarbon or braid to fluorocarbon leader gives good feel and hookset power.

It performs well in spring and fall when bass are actively feeding in the shallows, and can also be worked deeper during summer and winter transitions.
